Atmospherically yours: creepy S.T.A.L.K.E.R. screenshots
Nothing says dark and foreboding quite like angry dogs and the toppled remains of a Stalin (or is it Lenin?) monument. Unfortunately for you, you’re stuck in Chernobyl, and that’s all you basically have to look forward to during your term of service in that seemingly post-apocalyptic wasteland of a town.
Thank GSC Game World and THQ for giving you this land of curdled milk and crusted honey, you poor sods.
Much like the game, GSC Game World seems to like teasing the audience with screenshots, yet not providing any new info to satisfy our curiosity. Why can’t we just leave? Why do people still live here? What happened to the rest of the world? More importantly, how do you survive in this wasteland when everything probably has the stench of ill will on it?
We don’t have any answers for you either. All we have are pictures of the shadows of Chernobyl, and the fact that you’re going to be spending quite some time there in the near future.
The rest of the screens await after the jump!
