Audio Technica Earphones

Nowadays, we’re listening to more and more music so why penny-pinch for listening needs such as headphones? For music lovers with exceptionally deep pockets, the people at Audio Technica have, not just one but two treats in store.

The Japanese  makers present 2 new headphones, the ATH-EC700 and the ATH-EC700Ti. The difference between the 2 models is that the first one is aluminium-made and the second one is made out of titanium, but then again, let us take a look first in the aluminum variant.

The ATH-EC700 is made up of aluminum, falls under the dynamic type, the driver is 15.44 neodymium magnetand it offers 16Ω on a 10Hz – 24kHz range and 100dB. It weighs 11 grams with a 1.2m of cord length. When you purchase one of these bad boys you get two accessories – a dock and an ear pad; and for added kicks you can buy separately the top of the line ear pads (HP-EC7). It would be released on May 26, 2006.

On the other hand, the ATH-EC700Ti offers the same punch but in a titanium package which means it is lighter, more durable and offers good sound quality. It would also be released and  sold on May 26.

Aside from that, their only other difference is their corresponding price tags. The ATH-EC700 is valued at 15,000 Japanese Yen (US$132), while the ATH-EC700Ti has a price tag of 20,000 Japanese Yen (US$176). I told you that these babies are for those with deep pockets!
