Australian Game Developers Association President optimistic about PSP
About how well would you say the Sony PSP is doing? Chances are, different people will have different opinions about Sony‘s portable game machine. Tantalus Interactive CEO Tom Crago has his own as well, and he’s willing to share it with you in the full article, located right after the jump.
Tom Crago, CEO of Tantalus Interactive and President of the Game Developers Association of Australia, is quite optimistic about the performance of the Sony PSP. In fact, Mr. Crago expressed his opinion at a recent Dissecta session held in Melbourne.
It seems that game developers are now singing a different tune. According to Crago, publishers had reportedly predicted the death of Sony‘s portable machine; now it appears they’re more eager to hear developers pitches and give the thumbs-up signal for PSP games.
What has caused them to change their mind? The new Slim & Lite version of the PSP may be one factor; games such as Patapon and Gods of War: Chains of Olympus may be another. Regardless of the reason, the “PSP now seems to be looking pretty good for the next few years at least,” Crago says.
