Those who prefer to play light, pick-up-and-play games on the go may want to check out this new homebrew mini-game for the Nintendo handheld, Balloon Fight DS.

Based on the NES classic, Balloon Fight, Homebrew developer Cortes48‘s take on the high-flying title is supposed to be a compendium of balloon mini-games. There’s only one mode available in the initial release which is “Coins Collect.” The game looks pretty good so far, and the prospect of getting more gameplay modes in future updates doesn’t hurt the homebrew pastime, either.
