Bandai Games Inc. today announced that “The Legend of Heroes: A Tear of Vermillion” has gone gold for the PSP system. Featuring more than 100 distinctive characters, over 50 hours of gameplay, and an extensive storyline, this game is the first true role-playing game for the PSP system.

In “The Legend of Heroes: A Tear of Vermillion,” players take on the role of Avin, a 17 year-old boy who embarks on an adventure in search of his sister, Eimelle. With a trusty animal companion at his side, Avin must journey through one of the most captivating 3-D environments available on the PSP system. Developed by legendary Nihon Falcom in Tokyo, “The Legend of Heroes: A Tear of Vermillion” is the second installment in a remarkable Japanese series known as “Gagharv Trilogy.” Their other well-known RPG works include the “Ys,” “Brandish,” and “Sorcerian” Series on many platforms and brands.
