Bargain Alert: Australian PSP price drop, Go!Cam arrival, Platinum title release

Gather around, Australian readers. May 24 is a day of good news for you all. Beginning today, Sony is slashing the price of the PSP by AU$ 70. May 24 is also the day when the PSP’s Go!Cam accessory comes out, as well as five platinum titles which will be selling at rock bottom prices.

Previously sold for AU$ 350 (US$ 287), the PSP base pack will now be out in stores for a recommended retail price of AU$ 279.95 (US$ 230). In addition, the Go!Cam accessory will also be out in stores, selling for AU$ 79.95 (US$ 65).

For people who aren’t interested in the accessories, but are simply looking for quality games, they’ve got them at bargain prices too. Ridge Racer 2, Tekken, Killzone: Liberation, Loco Roco, and Moto GP are now listed as platinum titles, and will sell for AU$ 29.95 (US$ 25)

As you can probably guess, expect more gamers to grab themselves a PSP or two, along with some quality games once word gets out. In the meantime, you can always hurry along and beat other people to the punch.
