Base jumping from Crackdown’s Agency
While it isn’t any Mount Everest, nor a dive from the top of the Mariana Trench to its pitch-black depths, an Xbox 360 player demonstrated his “Base Jumper” Achievement by recording a jump from the top of the Agency itself and landing in water. RealTime World’s Crackdown, still GameFly‘s most requested title, allows you to perform certain feats in the game and get them recorded as achievements.
But did you notice a spire-like rod opposite the edge he jumped off from? That rod is actually much higher. That means he could have made a much higher leap. Of course, he’d be hard-pressed to actually make a water landing, so we guess this is pretty much as good as it can get.
If you love hang time replays on your favorite basketball shows, you might want to bring a bucket for this one.
