Battle Footage from Pokemon Battle Revolution

Yeah, our pickup on new Pokemon Battle Revolution news could use a little pickup. Well, how about this? Cubed3 found a new short trailer for Battle Revolution being played on the game’s official site. And this one features Battle Revolution‘s battle footage! (Not so sure about the Japanese text being displayed being part of the game, though).

As you can see from the vid, it shows off how damage will be represented and animated in Battle Revolution. The Pokemon flinch, twitch, and react to every hit, and a floating health bar pops up to show how much damage each Pokemon has suffered. It’s really a short video that doesn’t show much beyond that, but the way we understand it (based on the comments in C3), we’re looking at Wii graphics here (uploaded to YouTube courtesy of DSCUBED).

Aside from this trailer, the official site also reveals that ten stadiums will be included in Battle Revolution. It also features a bit of the Wi-Fi Pokemon Diamond/Pearl-to-Wii connectivity of the game, as well as the MSRP of 5,800 yen and a December 14 release date. Battle Revolution is developed by Genius Sonority, also responsible for the Game Cube version.
