Battlefield 2142 Previews its arsenal

   The fight for survival in the new ice age gets even more intense this weekend as EA unlocks  more goodies in the next four days and every soldier who logs in gets a shot at owning these tasty upgrades. 

The franchise was made popular by its historical FPS games and is set to rock the genre once again with its latest futuristic offering. 

The Battlefield 2132 melee starts Friday and lasts until Monday midnight PST. Soldiers will be placed in ranked environments for a brutal test of will to determine who wants the goods the most. Better start spit-shining those combat shoes and get ready to rumble.
