BC talent updates for Paladins, Mages, and Warlocks

Burning CrusadeOver at the official World of Warcraft forums, Tseric has posted an update on the talents that are going to be available in Burning Crusade. Read on to check ’em out.

First off, we have something for all the Pallies out there. The Paladin talent Vengeance now increases damage by 2/4/6/8/10%, reduced from 3/6/9/12/15%. Crusader Strike’s cooldown has also been increased to 10 seconds from the original 6 seconds. The Crusader Strike talent should also have a new icon now.

Next we’re gonna look at what’s new for our spellcasting pal, the Mage. Three Mage talents have been updated, and the first of these is Molten Fury. Rank 3 of this talent has been removed, with Ranks 1 and 2 remaining unchanged. Elemental Precision’s talent description has been changed to “Reduces the mana cost and chance targets resist your Frost and Fire spells by 1/2/3%”, and Empowered Fireball has been reduced to 3% per rank from the original 4%.

Last but most certainly not least is the Warlock. Sadly, the Warlock class talent Unholy Power no longer increased Shadow and Fire damage, and it has reverted back to “Increases the damage done by your Voidwalker, Succubus, Felhunter, and Felguard’s melee attacks by 4/8/12/16/20%.” The other Warlock talent to be modified was Incinerate, although this was a purely aesthetic change. Incinerate has merely swapped icons with Burnout.

Stay tuned for more updates on all of the goodies that you’re going to get in Burning Crusade.
