Swedish developer A Different Game has announced that they’ll be bringing their augmented reality game, Ghostwire, to the Nintendo DSi. The game lets you use the DSi’s built-in camera to look for ghosts in your own home.
Swedish developer A Different Game has announced that they’ll be bringing their augmented reality game, Ghostwire, to the Nintendo DSi. The game lets you use the DSi’s built-in camera to look for ghosts in your own home.
The objective in Ghostwire is to find and collect ghosts. Aside from the camera, you also get to use the DSi’s mic as well as a few tools like a “frequency modulator” for tuning in ghosts. Once a ghost is spotted, you can then ask them questions and solve riddles help them find peace.
The press release didn’t mention any target release dates, but this certainly looks like a game to watch out for. A Different Game says it’s also in development for various smartphones and handheld devices, so an eventual iPhone version shouldn’t be too surprising.
