Because some folks are desperate: Wii, in-stock, Sunday, Toys “R” Us, capiche?
Heads up folks, Joystiq’s Alexander Sliwinski alerts all of us that this Sunday, Toys “R” Us will have Wii’s in stock! Yes, given how fast word about this spread – and is still spreading – Ninty fans, you’re probably going to have to go early and avoid all those evil Wii hungry mothers, and nostalgic 30 plus year-old gamers. Be careful, you don’t want to accidentally elbow grannies while queuing up.
Now if only all those promised titles could come sooner, just so that the game library can match the amazing console sales. I’m NOT saying that the Wii’s game portfolio is bad, I’m just saying that the console sales are hard to match. That, and like Sliwinski, I’m sort of sick of mini-game based stuff and Virtual Console titles already.
At least there’s Super Paper Mario, next week, but then after that what? Manhunt 2 seems so very far away. Weep.
