Before Apple Intelligence, Microsoft Designer brings AI graphic technology to the phone.
Microsoft Designer
Microsoft Designer, an AI-based generative tool that creates images, is now available for free as an iOS app. Microsoft Designer, which was previously available as a preview for almost a year, is now available to everyone. Designer, which was previously available only on a website and Microsoft Edge, is now available for iOS, Android and Windows apps. The app is free but you need a Microsoft account in order to sign in and use it. Copilot was used to access elements in Microsoft’s Word and other apps. Designer follows the usual usage patterns of AI systems that generate images. The app allows users to enter text prompts that are used to create images. Templates can be created to make it easy to create social media pictures and greetings cards. The app allows users to create new images and edit existing ones. It also includes an avatar creator. The editing tools allow you to remove or alter objects and backgrounds within a scene or completely restyle a picture. Users will be limited to 15 boosts per day, even though the app is free to download. These boosts are consumed automatically when AI-based image changes are made. Users can upgrade to Copilot Pro for $20 to get 100 boosts a day. Microsoft launches Designer as the world awaits Apple Intelligence to be released in betas ahead of the fall release. Apple’s system has a generative AI tool called Image Playground that creates images based on prompts. Apple Intelligence’s version has hooks that allow you to easily insert generated images into Apple apps. You can download it from Apple’s App store.
