Best Buy safeguards against PSP analog nub theft

PSP - Image 1 Birdman from the MaxConsole forums has come across something interesting during a visit to Best Buy. According to him, the consumer electronics retail giant has come up with a new way to safeguard their PSP analog nubs against theft by screwing the nubs to the PSP itself.

Simple, but it’s effective. According to Birdman, it seems Best Buy employees just used a small black screw and just screwed them right down the middle of the nub. It’s still unclear if this was a request from Sony or if Best Buy management just became fed up with having to replace stolen nubs all the time.

Those things are just so darn tempting for the nub-less PSP fan.
