Apple has released a fourth developer beta of the latest AirPods Pro 2 Software, allowing testers to try out the nod-and-shake feature. AirPods is one of the many platforms that Apple offers developer betas. Apple doesn’t release AirPods firmware updates as often as other platforms. However, they are necessary for developers to test before the public release. The fourth beta updates the AirPods Pro 2 software build version from 7A5266c to 7A5290a. This beta is only available for AirPods Pro 2 USB-C and Lightning versions. It will not be released for AirPods Max, or any other non-H2 device. Apple’s latest release includes features announced at WWDC, such as the new head-shaking motions that allow users to shake their heads yes or no in order to respond to Siri. Also included are the improved noise isolation, personalized spatial audio and gaming. Apple makes it easy to download and update beta versions of iOS and macOS. However, this is not the case with AirPods firmware. To begin, you will need to create a free developer account. If you need help, you can watch the video.
