At the QuakeCon 2009, Bethesda‘s Todd Howard gave a surprising (?) announcement that there is no Elder Scrolls V in development. “Currently,” at least.
According to him, “We are working on our next big game but we are not talking about it.” And while there is no plans for a fifth installment in the Elder Scrolls franchise, he did say that there is always a “chance” that they’ll create an MMO for the series. We’ll just have to wait for any breaking news on this next big game of theirs.
