Bethesda Softworks‘ Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 2 video game Star Trek: Conquest was released during November 2007 for the North American and Canadian market. It, however, suffered from low chart ratings.

According to analysts during that time, the poor sales of the game can be attributed to the poor pubic relations strategy employed by Bethesda. However, the company now wishes to address that in the European release of the game.

Star Trek: Conquest is set in the era of The Next Generation and gameplay is a mix of strategy and action. Players take control of forces Federation, Klingon, Romulan, Cardassian, Dominion, and Breen in an attempt to conquer the whole galaxy one planet at a time.

While the announcement of the title for Europe failed to specify its exact release date, Bethesda Softworks did mention that Star Trek: Conquest should be out before Q1 ends.
