The ScummVM team has announced that a big testing season for ScummVM v0.11.0 is coming up. This means that they plan on releasing a new version of the homebrew emulator which will have support for even more games.
The developers have also announced that they’ve added eight games to the set of ScummVM supported titles. Included among the list were the previously announced Elvira – Mistress of the Dark, Elvira II – The Jaws of Cerberus, and Waxworks (Amiga version only). Joining these games are other classics, namely: I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, Lure of the Temptress, Mickey’s Space Adventure, Troll’s Tale, and Winnie the Pooh in the Hundred Acre Wood.
For those unfamiliar with this application, it is a homebrew emulator for LucasArts’ SCUMM engine, Adventuresoft/Horrorsoft games, Coktel vision, Sierra Agi, and more. This program has been ported to multiple platforms including Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, PocketPC, PalmOS, AmigaOS, BeOS, OS/2, PSP, Nintendo DS, PS2, and SymbianOS/EPOC.
