Bioshock available for pre-order in Steam and Direct2Drive
Don’t want to leave your couch when Bioshock (Xbox360, PC) comes out? Don’t want to have to go to each and every store only to find that Bioshock’s already sold out? It’s your lucky day. Or at least, it’s your lucky day when Bioshock finally comes out because Valve’s Steam and IGN’s Direct2Drive are now taking in pre-orders for downloads.
Both sites charge US$ 49.95 and will free up the game for download on August 21 or, according to the Direct2Drive site, “as soon as the game is available.” Direct2Drive also offers a US$ 5 coupon for future purchases upon pre-order.
