Bioshock! developer walkthrough video
The last time we heard from 2K Games‘ BioShock! (360 and PC), we learned about its massive customization capabilities, as well as what’s it doing to basically re-invent the wheel as far as how we perceive FPS games as a whole.
Now, we get to find out the many ways you can play the game, in this Fishery Developer Walkthrough video. In this clip, we see the player tackle the same room in three different ways. In his first attempt, he goes in with guns blazing, shooting everything in sight – but unfortunately getting ambushed at all sides in the process.
His second try is somewhat more practical: he ignores the Big Daddy with his Little Sister, drops down to the room’s lower level and hacks into a turret. This gains him a valuable ally, one that’ll quickly take down any onrushing wrench-wielders in his path.
His third go at the room – he goes right for the Big Daddy itself, taking down the armored beast with a few well-placed traps. BioShock!, the thinking man’s horror FPS? Definitely. We’ll leave you to enjoy the video.
