Bioshock website comes alive

Bioshock launched its uber-creepy website, and if this is any indication of what Irrational Games got up its sleeves Bioshock is destined to be the gold standard for the horror genre.

Due Spring 2007, this FPS has “mega-hit” stamped all over it with permanent ink. If we were to move to another planet and we could bring one game with us, Bioshock for Xbox 360 and PC would be it. We’ve drooled over the trailer, behind-the-scene videos, and screens.

The Bioshock website features a tour of Rapture with a couple of stops at Kashmir – once the restaurant to wine, dine, and be seen – now turned into a mausoleum. The other place to see is the Medical Pavilion which was weird enough during its heyday. You can imagine how blood-chilling it is after its fall from grace.

The website is far from complete. The website promises four more tourist spots to come in the following days.
