Bioshock Xbox 360 exlcusive?

Microsoft‘s mechanism seems to have been working perfectly well behind all our backs. Today at X06, the giant corporation unleashed yet again another sharp dagger of an announcement that might pierce close enough to Sony‘s very heart.

All previous reports that Bioshock! is coming to the PS3 are now confirmed to be inaccurate. The official statement reads: “2K Games confirmed that Bioshock!, a first person shooter that will revolutionize the genre and forever change the expectations of gamers, will be released exclusively on Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows next spring.“

This is highly disappointing for PS3 fans as the official PlayStation magazine itself reported otherwise before. A concrete launch date of March 2007 was even mentioned. We can only imagine what happened behind closed doors for now. We say for now because we all know that in the gaming industry, nothing is certain.
