BioWare Austin on Dragon Age

Dragon Age

BioWare‘s coming out with a new MMO, and it’s called Dragon Age. To know more about it, 1Up recently had an interview with three guys from BioWare Austin: co-studio director Gordon Walton, creative director James Ohlen, and co-studio director of product development Rich Vogel.

So what does this MMO has to offer? Well, we heard that this one’s going to have a variety of choices of character customization, which is a fantastic thing actually, as it seems that BioWare’s narrowing it down to setting your character apart from others.

More so when it comes to quests. Interestingly, Dragon Age will feature an epic “choose-your-own-adventure” like setting, instead of repeating the same content (you know, going to an NPC, do what it wants you to do, gain experience/gold and level up shebang) over and over.

Here’s what James Ohlen has to say about their upcoming game, and it sure got us excited:

You change how your character evolves over the game, the player’s personal story — and a player’s personal story can be quite epic. It can involve parts of the world that, while they’re epic, exciting, and interesting, don’t change the landscape of the entire world for everyone else.

We sure can’t wait!
