Bizarre already working on Geometry Wars sequel?

Bizarre Creations‘ is set to release Boom Boom Rocket on mid-April and they have already released the game’s Achievements List. Most could say that Bizarre’s work on Boom Boom Rocket is pretty much done. But could it be that they are planning on making a sequel to their XBL hit Geometry Wars?

CVG reports that when they asked Bizarre’s Sam Hall and Nick Bygrave if we will “see more of the psychedelic shooter in the future”, the duo replied with a “we can’t say anything about that” comment. That reply was complete with shared looks and giggles – which got CVG thinking that a Geometry Wars 2 is really in the works.

CVG speculates that in the sequel, new enemy types, gameplay twists, and spectacular neon-visuals could be found. Well, that is their opinion, how bout you guys? What do you wanna see on the rumored Geometry Wars 2?
