Bladestorm: Hundred Years’ War massive screens
It wouldn’t amount to being a Hundred Years’ War if it won’t let you see 65,000 characters appear on the screen at the same time. In fact, you could even create a spinoff title or two from this epic battle game, say, Jeanne d’ Arc (Joan of Arc, whose character will appear this game). All we can say is that despite the overwhelming difficulty to capture an enormous number of characters, the PS3 stunning graphical capabilities on this title didn’t fail to impress.
Although we still know very little of this game, Koei give us hints that it will use a Free Mission system that will let players choose their assignment or experience a given battle from the enemy side, whether it’s on the French or English.
In this game, winning is based on point system and you play as the leader. There’s a bit of parallelism on games relying on this system: The more points you have, the better your reputation, the more you will attract troops to your side, and the more you can beef up your combat strength.
Bladestorm: Hundred Years’ War as we know can be played by one or two players. It’s set for a February 2007 release in the U.S. We’ve yet to learn more details on the game so keep checking QJ for updates.
