Bleaching your Metal Gear: New PSP releases for the week of May 20

Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops... now in Europe! - Image 1

PSP Fanboy is up once again with this week’s list of new titles from around the world. While there isn’t much to be happy about in the United States, other than the release of the actually-quite-fun Legend of the Dragon game, there is some good news for the rest of the world.

For starters, Europe will finally be getting Konami‘s Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops this week. The adventures of Solid Snake and company on the PSP include hunting down and recruiting new people, as well as taking down baddies with well-timed sleeper holds and neck snaps. Ah, sweet, silent death, how we’ve missed you.

Speaking of death, nothing beats being a death god…with the exception of being beaten by some bigger, badder death god. That’s why 8ing‘s Bleach: Heat the Soul 4 is alive and kicking (butt, that is) in Asia. It’s the fighting game that features giant swords, insane special attacks, and a guy who can see dead people as the main character. How’s that for a sixth sense?

In any case, the full list of titles are below:

U.S. Games:

  • Brooktown High Senior Year
  • Diner Dash
  • Legend of the Dragon
  • Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End

EU Games:

  • Crush
  • Heatseeker
  • Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
  • Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End
  • Winx Club

Asian Games:

  • Bleach: Heat the Soul 4
  • Juiced Eliminator
