Blizzard announces Arena Tournament venues

 

 

Heads up for all of those keeping tabs on Blizzard‘s Arena Tournament! It’s been a long haul, but finally the end’s in sight in the currently-raging war to see just who’s the best of the best. Yes, the finals for every regional division are just around the corner, and the venues have indeed been decided. If you’re in the area, or you’re already packing your bags to see just who will reign supreme, then take note of these locations and dates:

• Asian Regional Finals (May 19-20, 2007) – Olympic Fencing Gymnasium, Seoul, Korea
• American Regional Finals (June 2-3, 2007) – House of Blues, San Diego
• European Regional Finals (June 23-24, 2007 – Hamburg Messe and Congress Center, Hamburg, Germany

And last, but certainly not least – the Global Finals will take place at the conventions to end all conventions, BlizzCon 2007 in Anaheim, California. Those who reigned supreme in their respective regional divisions will be flown in to duke it out in the worldwide arena, with WarCraft III and World of WarCraft as their battlegrounds – where only one will remain standing and achieve global recognition as the best players around. So mark your calendars and ring up those air tickets, it’s going to be one heck of a finale!
