Blizzard selling 3,000 additional BlizzCon tickets
After the BlizzCon website experienced a lot of downtimes due to the sheer number of people trying to get tickets to BlizzCon 2008, Blizzard president Mike Morhaime has stepped in to announce that the company will be selling another 3,000 tickets. After the BlizzCon website experienced a lot of downtimes due to the sheer number of people trying to get tickets to BlizzCon 2008, Blizzard president Mike Morhaime has stepped in to announce that the company will be selling another 3,000 tickets.
Great news, but apparently it’s still going to be a bit of a hit or miss affair. Due to the demand, the 3,000 tickets will be sold off via lottery. Only those who have an active Blizzard account as of 9:00 PM PDT on August 12 will have a chance of getting the tickets.
Still, it’s better than missing out on the event, especially if you’re a hardcore fan of Blizzard’s stable of hit franchises. Keep checking back here for more BlizzCon 2008 updates.
