With the StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty beta under way, you’ve got to wonder how long it’ll take before Blizzard decides they’ve polished the game enough. Well, not too long, apparently.
Blizzard’s Chris Sigaty, who acts as lead producer on StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, has revealed on this week’s BlizzCast that the game’s beta period will last only for about three months. Why? To push Wings of Liberty out the door and into eager gamers’ hands in the first half of the year.
“We were targeting three to five months for the beta, we’re really at a three month period of time for the beta at this point,” said Sigaty. “We are still targeting the first half of this year… [for release.]”
