Blizzard’s Response to the Logitech-keyboard Issue

WoW logoIn relation to the issue of the WoW player who was banned from playing due to his use of Logitech’s new gaming keyboard, which we discussed here, and in response to queries posted by concerned WoW players asking if what they are doing could be constituted as cheating, Blizzard says that it’s perfectly alright to create hotkeys for certain actions in the game. However, they add that it would be a clear violation of their policies if players, through the use of peripherals, automating gameplay to the extent that they can conduct repeated actions in the game without paying attention.
