If you’re still stewing in your seat thinking about attending BlizzCon 2009, you’re too late. Don’t worry too much, though, you’re not the only one. You know those 20,000 tickets for the event? Well, they were all sold out…in just eight minutes.
In a conference call with investors earlier this week, Activision Blizzard revealed that 20,000 tickets have indeed been sold. Each ticket for the two day event costs a painful US$ 125, to think that the four-day ticket for the Comic-Con was only at US$ 75 and the three-day one for the Penny Arcade Expo was at US$ 50.
The conference call also revealed that all 20,000 tickets were sold in just eight minutes, so while folks were taking their cigarette break or trying to find their left sock, Activision Blizzard was busy mass-distributing event tickets.
The BlizzCon will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in California on August 20th and the 21st, not that you’ll have any tickets to get in there though.
