“ Blue Dragon kicked things off. This latest trailer consists of what appeared to be a mix of real time and pre-rendered footage. The pre-rendered stuff starts the clip off, showing main character Shu flying aboard a small airship through a storm-filled sky. His ship is struck by lighting and begins a descent, revealing a great battle taking place on the ground below, with giant robots run amok.

The trailer then switches to an impressive real time environmental demo, showcasing some of the environments that you’ll be playing through on your adventure. The shadowing, dust effects, and amount of detail in the environments would leave any RPG fanatic excited. Particular note must be given to the water. Videogame water keeps on getting better and better, but Blue Dragon seems to take the prize.”
