Blue Gecko launches Steel Wars

Online videogames developer Blue Gecko Entertainment has just revealed that their latest online offering, Steel Wars, is now up and running.

In this real-time strategic warfare game, players get to compete in team battles, with the winner being the team who collects the most flags and gets the most kills in one 20-minute round. Each player can choose to drive either a hover, tank, or mechanoid, and when the bullets finally hit home and your unit is destroyed, you can restart as a different unit.

The game will automatically set the AI controlled units in order to balance the gameplay between teams. A new arena is run by the server every hour and those who perform well will be awarded points, allowing them to rise in the Steel Wars overall player rankings.

Released as an alpha version, Steel Wars is available to all players who download the free Blue Gecko game client from www.bluegecko.ro.
