Boogie shuffles to North American shelves today
Electronic Arts‘ long-awaited dance party game Boogie has now hit its shipping date, which was followed with a prompt announcement by the worldwide publisher. The attention call via press wire heralded the shipping of Boogie for the Wii to stores all over North America and reminded that Europe was to receive their version by August 31.
Rehashed versions of popular rhythm tracks by The Jackson 5, Kool & The Gang, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cyndi Lauper, Black Eyed Peas and Britney Spears, among others, will litter the game’s selectable soundtrack. Coupled with enjoyment over the ultimate party mode, players will also be able to create their own music videos or groove solo in the story mode for fame and fortune.
EA has estimated a price of US$ 59.99 for the game bundled with a karaoke microphone and announced an ESRB rating of E10+ (Lyrics and Suggestive Themes) for the U.S. version of the game. PEGI has rated the game as 3+ for European versions.
