Borat loves the “PS and 3!”

Those crazy 1up people. Instead of getting Sony‘s PlayStation 3 and writing about it like normal folk, they had to bring on the Borat.

The 1up staff decided to unveil their new console arrival by making a Borat Sagdiyev copycat from one of their staff members, and had a photoshoot of sorts with the console.  “Borat” loves the PS3, by the way, saying, “It is like a Hollywood movie films with my controlling! PS and 3 only possible with IBM cellular processors and ray that is blue. Also, it made by Japanese and not Jew.”

Sigh… anti-Semitic jokes. Moving on…

“Borat” also talked about his favorite video game from this “video cassette recorder of the future,” and he’s particularly enamored with Ridge Racing Car. His reasoning, while unbearably simple, is somewhat apt given the disposition of many male gamers towards pretty pixelated women: “It just like in my home country of Kazakhstan. No woman driving in cars, only in sexy bathing suit. It very niiice!” Lollerskates.

For those who have no idea who Borat is, he’s a character created by Sacha Baron Cohen, host of “Da Ali G Show.” Borat Sagdiyev is not your typical character in that he’s supposed to be a reporter from Kazakhstan with anti-Semitic tendencies (Cohen himself is actually a devout member of the Jewish community) and has a mockumentary about the US coming out soon. If said documentary fails (according to their skits), however, Borat will be executed. Not that it has any bearing on how sweet the PS3 looks… very shiny!
 
Now, if only we could convince Sony to give us one…
