Borderlands delayed to fiscal 2009

In the latest statements coming from Take-Two Interactive, it was mentioned that upcoming sci-fi FPS offering Borderlands(PS3, Xbox 360, PC) from developer Gearbox will be delayed. The launch was moved from the 2008 window to fiscal 2009.
Take-Two reasons that the delay is intended to give Gearbox additional time to develop the game. The move of Borderlands‘ launch schedule, the company adds, should also provide a better balance for the release lineup of its AAA titles.
