Brad Pitt’s ‘ F1’ Apple Original picture velocity to theaters in summertime 2025

Brad Pitt in the teaser for ‘F1″
The Apple Original film about Formula 1 racing starring Brad Pitt has a new name. It’s not surprising that it’s named “F1.” Apple has been working for several years on a film about the motorsport Formula 1. Although there was a lot of information about the film, it wasn’t officially named until Friday. The official account of Formula 1 On X confirmed that the film was teased with the name “F1”, the commonly used shorthand for racing series. Brad Pitt is confirmed as the star of the film in a tweet. The teaser image says that the film will be released in theaters in summer 2025 and that it was filmed for Imax. Apple announced previously that the film will be released worldwide on June 27, 2025. Apple TV+ will likely release the film after its theatrical release, but there is no information on when this will happen. Pitt plays a former Formula 1 driver who returns to the sport, with Damson Idris playing his teammate. Cast members include Kerry Condon Javier Bardem Tobias Menzies Sarah Niles Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo. It was filmed, which is unusual for a film production, during real Grand Prix weekends with real teams competing. Joseph Kosinski directs and produces the film with Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman, Pitt, Dede Garcia, Jeremy Kleiner, Plan B and seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton, for Dawn Apollo Films. Apple Original Films, Warner Bros. and Formula 1 worked together on the film.
