Brain Tumors Linked to Mobile Phones

Brain Tumors from Cell phonesA new study from the Swedish National Institute for Working Life concludes that the prolonged use of mobile phones can raise the risk of brain tumors. The study states that out of a total of 905 people between the ages of 20 and 80 who had been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, 85 of them were high mobile phone users or wireless telephone users. The study also shows that the growth tended to be on the side of the head that the phone is most used. Kjell Mild who lead the study stated that if a heavy user talks for 2,000 hours on their mobile they have a 240 percent increased risk for a malignant tumor on the side they hold the phone on.

I know these are scientific studies and all but I think there needs to be a little more testing on the subject before there can be a direct link made.

There have already been studies conducted around the world such as the Dutch Health Council and the the 4 year British Survey which in both cases found no links between regular and long term cell phone use and the most common tumors.
