Brand-New Everquest II Dev Chest at EQ II
There’s a new Dev Chest for Everquest II, released just in time for E3 2006 and posted on the game’s official site. Most of the small trinkets contained within consist of insights and little known information directly from the game’s own developers.
For example, if you have been confused about Trakanon and Tarinax? Are they one and the same? Or perhaps you have some questions about ancient vampires. Game designer Tony Garcia, a.k.a. Vhalen, reveals all. If you’re wondering whether monks or bruisers are more effective at wreaking damage, you may want to look at what designer Steve Danuser (or Moorgard, as he is better known) has to say on the subject.
Finally, Jared Sweatt, who also goes by “Lockeye,” has this to say on the topic of CA procs: “Weapon and Spell proc rates use the base delay or casting time. Haste and Casting Speed bonuses will not hinder actual proc rates per weapon swing or spell cast.”
