Bravoman flying to the Wii VC this April 9

Bravoman to be heading to the Wii this April 9 - Image 1The game Bravoman, published by Hudson Soft, is a classic game that doesn’t take itself too seriously. It was first released in 1998 as an arcade game in Japan. An English version was later released for the TurboGrafx-16 last 1990. Now, in 2007, it looks like it will be headed for the Nintendo Wii.

The game is a parody of Sentais or live-action superhero shows in Japan. The story is pretty simple: Bravoman, with the help of Lottery Man, is out to defeat Dr. Bomb. The game’s “engrish” is funny but understandable, so we hope the game retains the dialogue from the Turbografx version. One of the most memorable lines in the game comes from the telephone box which says “Hello, I’m Japanese telephone box” when you attack it.

Bravoman will be going for 600 Wii points when it’s released on April 9. While waiting, why not check out some other games for your Wii VC?
