Brawl update: Pit’s Final Smash and music theme
Attention, Brawl fans! Two updates headed your way and they’re both about one of the newcomers into the Super Smash Brothers roster, Pit from Kid Icarus. We get you the latest on what’s new with the cross-series beat-em-up that’s got every Wii owner standing up and paying attention.
In this update, we get wind of Pit’s Final Smash, aptly named Palutena’s Army. What happens is that the moment Pit grabs hold of the very rare and very powerful Smash Ball, he’ll call upon the Goddess Palutena’s help. She makes a very prominent appearance behind the stage – note the goddess-y glow and aura – before the hammer is brought down upon your enemies, via a contingent of centurions divebombing everything in sight.
After that, we’re treated to a musical treat, with Pit’s theme titled “Kid Icarus: The Underworld”. Clocking in at one minute and six seconds, this short but sweet piece is an arrangement of both the Grim Reaper theme and the Game Over theme. While the choice of what to mix seems a bit strange, it actually works, and it sounds decidedly epic. One should hear it to get the full effect, and you can do so by clicking on the read link below.
Certainly great that the minds behind what could be the most highly-anticipated title from Nintendo are taking their time to make sure that the characters not only get relevant Final Smashes, but also great music. Updates as we get them, so keep it locked right here for more news about Super Smash Brothers Brawl!
