Broken Sword: The Director’s Cut slicing into App Store

The same guys who brought Beneath A Steel Sky – Remastered to the iPhone and iPod Touch are now gearing up for another classic adventure game release. This time they’re readying Broken Sword: The Director’s Cut.

The same guys who brought Beneath A Steel Sky – Remastered to the iPhone and iPod Touch are now gearing up for another classic adventure game release. This time they’re readying Broken Sword: The Director’s Cut.

The Director’s Cut includes a significant amount of content not featured in the home computer version, adding approximately 20 per cent to the total play time. The iPhone release will use an improved version of the control mechanism used in Beneath a Steel Sky – Remastered. There will also be new cutscenes and animations from artist Dave Gibbons and a context-sensitive help system.

Revolution Software estimates Broken Sword: The Director’s Cut to be available through the App Store within a month.
