Bronze might be one of the 16 Pro tones, but it’s most likely a title change.

According to a Weibo posting, bronze will be one of the iPhone 16 Pro colors this year. The post follows an earlier look at the base model iPhone 16 colours we expect to see this year. Yesterday, we got a closer look at some dummy iPhone 16 models, showing the vertical camera layout as well as the colors suggested in previous reports. We haven’t seen anything similar yet for the iPhone 16 Pro, but there have been multiple reports that Apple plans on dropping the blue titanium this year in favor of a brand new color. Back in March, an Weibo posting referred to the color as “rose.”
According to a Weibo posting (via ShrimpApplePro X), Apple is planning to replace blue titanium with rose titanium for the iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 16 Pro […]. Rose appears to be titanium’s version of gold.
Ming-Chi Kuo confirmed this in May.
iPhone 16 Pro & Pro Max : black, white or silver (I think it is natural titanium), grey
Another source also called it “rose”, noting that it would not be rose gold.
Rose is the new color code for iPhone 16 Pro. Rose Gold is not the same as the iPhone 6s Rose gold.
Weibo’s Fixed Focus Digital also mentions a new color, but the machine translation calls it bronze.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max comes in a new color scheme […]. The new color scheme is particularly bronze.
Apple Hub, based on the same report, showed a much more vibrant/garish rose gold render. Apple Hub, however, showed a much brighter and garish rose gold rendering, based on the exact same report. A rose by any other name could look like bronze. You’re reading 9to5Mac, experts who report on Apple and its ecosystem every day.
