Bullet Witch coming to Japanese Xbox 360 this summer
After Japanese publisher AQ Interactive announced their support for the Xbox 360 a while ago, the games they have planned finally seem to be shaping up. The first one to show up in stores will be Bullet Witch, developed by Cavia (Drakengard) and slated for a June 29 release.
Bullet Witch puts players into the role of a witch called Alicia. As Alicia, they will have to defend the earth from a demon invasion in the year 2013. A broomstick-shaped gun aids Alicia in her battles against monsters designed by Yasushi Nirasawa of FF: The Spirits Within fame.
If you’ve ever played Phantom Dust on the original Xbox, you know that the Japanese are able to make use of MS hardware as well as any Western developer, so we’ll let you know in a few months if slightly clichè sounding stories and freaky designs in the best Nippon tradition could help boost poor Japanese Xbox sales.
