Criterion Games' Burnout Paradise for the PS3 and Xbox 360 - Image 1 Most of us have been enjoying Burnout Paradise‘ demo over the PlayStation Network and/or the Xbox Live for a number of weeks now, and you’ll be glad to know that there’s more fun to come as Criterion Games is dishing out more burnt rubber goodies for us. Fasten your seatbelts, the Burnout Paradise demo will now be able to support up to eight players online.

The more, the merrier, right? Now instead of going around with only three other players with you, you’ll be with seven people out to flatten your car against some random railing. We’ll do the math for you: There are 13 new Freeburn challenges, three each for 5, 6, and 7 player sessions plus four for 8 player sessions.

Too bad this part of the Burnout Paradise demo lasts for only ten days (January 4 to January 14). Anyway, check the demo out while it lasts. Burnout Paradise for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will be crashing to the shelves in January 22 so be sure to mark your calendars.
