But I want my Mama! Cooking Mama for Wii delayed

Sorry kids, but it looks like we won’t be able to get our hands on the Wii version of Cooking Mama as soon as we expected since its release date has been bumped from this December to February of next year. Cooking Mamawas originally meant to be one of the titles that would be released at the same time as Wii, but Taito has claimed that the game would be delayed so that they can continue working on its development.

However, some people around the gaming communities are thinking that the delay may not actually be due to development issues, but is instead a business move to keep this mild, casual title from being swamped over and buried by its bigger and heavier contemporaries such as Zelda and Red Steel, both of which are also launch titles for the Wii.

Either way, both reasons seem valid and reasonable enough, so I guess we’ll just have to sit back a little while longer until this title finally makes it to store shelves.
