Just when you thought the fun was over after the PS3 launch, BB Spot published a really cool news bit claiming that the Sony management has decided that the best way to curb the sales problem regarding the PS3 was to sell the console with a free Nintendo Wii bundled in.

That’s right, the site ran a satire on the subject of console sales, describing the launch figures for the PS3 as “disappointing” all the while giving high regard to the Wii, calling it a “hot-selling” product that has outperformed the combined numbers of the PS3 and Microsoft‘s Xbox 360;

The article even included “quotes” from Sony North America President Frank Newmark. In the supposed news item, the Sony boss said “by focusing on giving the customer what they want, the sales of the PS3 will improve dramatically.”

“I know it sounds unorthodox to manufacture a competitor’s product, but if you do the math you’ll see that it will help us increase market share,” added Newmark (according to BB Spot).
