Cabal set to launch in English
Cabal, arguably one of the top massively multiplayer online games in the Far East, will soon open it’s doors to Westerners, as a closed European beta test is scheduled for June 26. The game will be the debut deal for aspiring European MMO publisher Game-Masters. Everyone is invited to apply for the beta via the game’s website – just be quick about it, as places are limited.
One of the reasons why Cabal has been enjoying great success in Asia is it’s low system requirements. Korean developers EST Corp made sure the game will even run with a 800 Mhz Pentium III. Despite this, it’s supposed to be more than just a “mindless hack and slash action game”.
On the contrary, the game offers a captivating mix of puzzles, battles and quests, all dependent on teamwork. Content is there in loads: 300 dungeons offer players a choice of solo and party dungeons and a wide variety of entertaining action including abundant quests and challenges.
A decidedly ‘western’ style game, Game-Masters now hope to appeal to European audiences with Cabal. Chris Nettleton, Chief Technical Officer of Games-Masters commented:
“This game will blow you away, itÂ’s as simple as that. The levels of detail are sensational and it is a privilege to publish this title. In addition to all the high action focus of the game the style has a westernized console feel and look- you really have to try this game!”
