Call of Duty 3 answers to the “gears” of war

CoD

Today will be remembered, not as Emergence Day, but as “The Day that Activision was Brave Enough to Release Their Games During the Same Day as Gears of War” day! So, why not celebrate? THP8 is already out, and on the same ship comes another game – this time a shooter! If you’re not the type to be frolicking about with aliens in planet Sera, then you can bust some action here on earth with Call of Duty 3.

You’re going to be put in the war boots of American, British, Canadian, and Polish soldiers as you fight your way through The Normandy Breakout – a historic campaign that freed Paris and brought the Allied troops to victory. You can even play through XBL and wage an Axis-vs.-Allies campaign involving up to 24 players.

To make the gaming experience even more real, Activision has even partnered with Spike TV and Best Buy to produce the Game Head Call of Duty 3: Challenge. It’s a videogame-reality-TV special that will start airing on November 10. Think of something like “Survivor” only boot-camp style!

So, now that’s CoD3 is out, you can answer that call to face those gears of war! Err… ok, that sounded ironic. But, oh well. The game is available for US$ 59.99, while the PS2 and Xbox version is for US$ 49.99. Answer the call, baby!
