Call of Duty 4 Dead Silence trailer video

Sneaking up on your enemies and giving them a cordial “Gotcha!” stab to the backs of their necks never looked so easy – and so hilariously fun – until this video update on one of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare‘s (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) multiplayer perks you’ll be able to select for your own in-game character, aptly named Dead Silence, came about. Stabby-stabby happy time is now!

The video, while painfully short (48 seconds’ worth of stab-happy gameplay), shows how just effective Dead Silence is during a loud and noisy skirmish in close quarters. What Dead Silence does is pretty much make your movements less audible to your enemies – specifically, your footsteps. Not too sure about other noises, such as you reloading, though.

With Dead Silence as part of your perks, you can pretty much walk up to one of your opponents from behind, whip out your knife, and give them the what-for with the side of the blade that causes ouchies. And from how it’s executed in the video, it’s going to be a whole lot of fun. Fun like a barrel of monkeys.

Embed’s below, you know what to do. Enjoy!
